According to The Toronto Star, Toronto will be getting fancy European-style pedestrian-friendly streets. The best part: they’re called woonerfs (it’s Dutch).

So what is a woonerf exactly? Picture a regular street, but narrow, minus a curb, finished with pavers instead of asphalt.
